Where Your Contribution Goes
How your contributions support the work of The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated and its Locals, and why every gift matters.
Before giving, it is natural to ask: What will my contribution support?
For The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated, that question deserves attention. Supporting a shared mission begins with understanding the work—and the resources needed to carry it forward.
Supporting the Work Behind the Mission
Community initiatives depend on people willing to give their time and skills. They also require practical resources: communication, coordination, administration, and the means to organize activities.
When considering a contribution, it helps to distinguish between support for the Federation’s general work and a donation requested for a specific project or event. Before giving, check the purpose stated in the appeal and ask for clarification if you need it.
Knowing what you are supporting makes participation more meaningful.
Transparency Begins With Your Questions
You are welcome to ask how contributions are allocated, what a particular appeal will fund, and what financial information is available to members and supporters.
For questions about the Federation’s finances or the use of contributions, please contact the International Treasurer through our general inquiry address: iec@tewfinc.org. Include “For the International Treasurer” in your subject line so your inquiry can be directed appropriately.
Whether you are preparing to give or following up on a previous contribution, asking for information is a constructive part of supporting the Federation.
Give With Understanding
As Pledge Day approaches, take time to learn about the appeal, consider what you can contribute, and share the invitation with others.
Your support matters. So does your understanding of how it will be used.
