Our Origin
The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated was founded in 1937 in Harlem under the Imperial Solomonic patronage of Emperor Haile Selassie I. Created to unite and empower Black people worldwide, it defends Ethiopia as a symbol of unbroken Black sovereignty and divine heritage.
Our Mission
We unite and organize Black people across the globe, restore our identity as a symbol of resilience and sacred legacy, and secure the integrity of Ethiopia as our spiritual homeland. Through repatriation, cultural ties and our own institutions, we work for dignity, freedom and economic independence.
Our Impact
Through our Locals located worldwide and campaigns, we turn principles into concrete action in communities across the America, Africa, Caribbean, Europe and beyond. We support repatriation, legal advocacy, education and community development—building self-sufficiency, cultural dignity and Black sovereignty in practice.

This campaign supports a local committee working under The Ethiopian World Federation Inc. to research and translate key legal documents, travel to Addis Ababa to meet officials and lawyers, and organize a unified defense of the community’s rights.
